The Castle Three Motor name heralds the return of a marque from the 1920s, when The Castle Motor Company produced three- and four-wheeled motor vehicles, the former competing directly with the Morgan three wheeler of that era.

Today saw the incorporation of the Castle Three Motor Company Ltd, marking the return of a brand from 1919, when The Castle Motor Company produced three-wheeled motor vehicles into the 1920s. The present day Castle Three is developing new three-wheeled vehicles for both the recreational motorist and motor sport enthusiast.

Based in Alnwick, Northumberland Castle Three has been working with Xenophya Design, vehicle designer Charles Purvis and engineering and motorsport specialist GTME to produce concept designs. In the coming weeks Castle Three will be raising equity from the general public, motoring enthusiasts and business angels using crowd funding sources such as Crowdcube.com, as well as direct investment, to finalise design, build prototypes and commence production.

The three wheeled vehicle, with two wheels at the front axle and one at the rear, will be driven by a third-party-supplied internal combustion engine with two V-twin engines and one flat twin engine currently under consideration. Castle Three will produce completed vehicles only and vehicles will not be available in kit form.
