As mentioned, this motorcycle has received a quality restoration and has been professionally converted into a three wheel bike. The Jawa is powered by a 248cc engine, capable of upwards of 15 horsepower. The casting number on the case is 11-71501, which matches the VIN. The bike has a speedometer and a voltage gauge. It sits upon three 19 inch wheels with a single 3.00-19 tire in the front and a set of 3.25-19 tires in the rear. |

There are some imperfections so please see photos closely before purchasing. One key is included. Even though yellow is more desirable in the Motocompo, Id rather have a white one and I finally found one. That is the only reason I am willing to sell this unique piece of Honda history. Overall in Good condition and runs great! This Motocompo starts first kick. Shows signs of wear considering its over 30 years old. There is a hole in the plastic on one side near the battery. The Pranafa Playboy Mini-Scooters were built by a Dr. Seiffert in Frankfurt, Germany during the 1950s. They first appeared at the Frankfurt Messe Zweirad (Two-Wheeler Fair), the forerunner of the IMFA in Cologne. Dr. Seiffert announced proudly at the Fair that this scooter is the ideal transportation to the office; a scooter you could park next to your desk. These now very rare scooters were imported by Hap Alzina, owner of a BSA Dealership in Oakland, California. The engines were not manufactured by Dr. Seiffert, but were built by the famous engine manufacturer Richard Kuchen from Inglostadt, a city in Bavaria north of Munich. The forced-air-cooled motor has a bore and stroke of 28 x 26 mm, equaling 16 cc. The power is not less than 0.25 hp at 6000 rpm. Obviously, this engine was not specially built for these scooters, but primarily for saws, lawn mowers, and the like. This particular scooter is painted blue. I am not sure if that is the original color or not. The rear fender was missing when this scooter was purchased by the consigner. The rear fender currently on the scooter is made of fiberglass. The tires and seat are obviously not original. The scooter is fully restored, but has never been started. The consigner said there is no reason it should not run. |

Not a sale price. ebay auction that ended March 1 2016. Starting bid was $3800 - it got 0 bids. Year unknown. This is a build it yourself three wheel, two person commuter car. IT IS NOT A KIT CAR. It is street legal when built according to state regulations. The completed car is known by name as Trimuter. It includes assembly instructions and some parts to complete it. The body is fiberglass with gull wing doors and Honda Civic windshield. It will accept several different type engines in the 20 to 25 HP range including electric. A Salisbury transmission and a Dutsun 510 differential are included. Information I have received states it will run about 60 MPH on the highway and gas mileage has been stated as being about 50 MPG fitted with the type engine and trans listed above. The car needs to be finished. It is available for inspection by appointment and must be picked up by the purchaser. |

Sale Jan 2014. Back in 1936, a man named E. Foster Salsbury co-developed the Salsbury Motor Glide, a scooter with an enclosed drivetrain underneath the seat. His later development of the first CVT to be used on a scooter made his product such a success that he even tried to license the design internationally. This design defined the second generation of scooters worldwide, and inspired competition from Cushman and even Harley-Davidson. One of the most interesting Salsbury designs was the Salsbury Imperial 85 Rocket, which was designed to entice car drivers to switch to a scooter. The interesting bodywork (styled with jet plane influences as Salsbury had lent his efforts to designing airplanes for WWII) covered nearly everything to keep riders clean. The engine was good for 6 horsepower and with a CVT, a rider could actually get up to 50 miles per hour. Reports estimate that between 700-1000 were produced, but very, very few came with a factory sidecar. This specific Salsbury Imperial 85 is one of the very rare examples with a factory sidecar. The seller claims just 4 exist, but I was unable to verify that. With that said, it’s supposedly 100% original and has been restored to ‘better than new’. The styling looks beautiful, and the condition truly looks fantastic. It’s only covered one mile since the restoration, and it’s ready for a new owner. This is a rare chance to own a beautiful example of the vehicle that defined what a scooter would be for 3 decades. |

Asking price seen online June 2013. The Moto Guzzi Dingotre was a three-wheeler pickup powered by a 49cc single-cylinder engine. Designed as a delivery carrier for use in small Italian villages, the small motor size and three wheels enabled individuals without a license to legally operate it. These bikes are quite rare, and information is hard to find. This is quite possibly one of the only Dingotre’s in the United States. The Moto Guzzi Dingotre was only produced from 1965-1968. At the time, Moto Guzzi was financially struggling, and this was one of the several bikes they built with the 49cc engine in an attempt to provide a wide variety of options at minimal cost. These bikes were all built under the Dingo surname, the Moto Guzzi Dingotre obviously refers to the three wheels of this bike. |

ebay sale Feb 29 2016. It is titled as a 1998 Mazda Truck. The back opens and has lots of room for its size. Made many a trips to the store with this baby. She runs good and shifts well. Reason for selling is that I now due to job transfer work out of town. It just now sits. I used to use it in to run to work on weekends. Great gas mileage as you can imagine. The doors slide on both sides and also 1/2 slide for Air. There is No A/C but not needed. Has very good heat. One seater. Couple of things. Emergency Brake needs adjusted. The gas gauge never worked. Had the sensor in the tank changed twice and then ordered a new guage from Westwood.. Put in and still does not work. You may have better You do need to watch it on a sharp curve if you are above 40mph. This is the best info I have .. Would be great around a lake or retirement place. With all that is said. I am selling AS IS Where is. You should bring a trailer unless you live a short distance from me. There is no return or warranty provided. Needs a bit of TLC but is mostly Aluminum so no danger of rusting .. Now it does have the steel Tube Frame. Very safe. |
