Nov 2015 sale of Johns guitar. The Gibson acoustic was stolen in in 1963, and used on the recordings of Love Me Do and PS I Love You. A guitar stolen from the late John Lennon in the 1960s sold for $2.41m (£1.6m) on Saturday at an auction in Beverly Hills, California, and a Beatles drum head went for $2.1m, fetching some of the highest prices ever for items of rock and roll memorabilia. The 1962 J-160E Gibson acoustic guitar had for decades been in the possession of John McCaw, a novice musician who bought it in the late 1960s without knowing it had been stolen from the legendary Beatle several years before, said auctioneer Darren Julien. The instruments authenticity was determined by its matching serial number and wood grain, among other things, Julien said. Lennon bought it at a Liverpool music shop in 1962 and used it on recordings of a number of Beatles songs, including PS I Love You and Love Me Do, according to Juliens Auctions. He also is said to have strummed it while writing several Beatles hits with Paul McCartney, such as I Want To Hold Your Hand and All My Loving. |

Barn find as found mostly complete with lots of original parts including seats, upholstery, steering wheel, 3 original worn tires plus more as shown. Originally painted red but repainted long ago and still has its early three digit 452 serial number on brass tag under seats. Items that are missing include the magneto, front fenders, solid wheel tire on motor wheel plus some other minor items that I am sure I have missed. Engine does turn over hard and I assume it will need to be rebuilt? Has a wooden backrest that has the remains of upholstery that is the same as the seats and appears to be original even though I have never seen another with one. |

An ebay buy it now price seen online Nov 7 2015. Year unknown. original SMITH Motor Wheel made by the AO Smith in Milwaukee, WI. I believe it was the predecessor to the Briggs an Stratton Motor Wheel. It is in original condition as can be seen and seems to never have been messed with other than putting a different tire on it. It has the original gas tank, fender, muffler, and magneto. It is stuck but it all seems to be there and ready for a restoration. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except one chipped cooling fin and the glass in the crankcase oil sight. The engine is stuck but has been soaking for a while. The wheel rim has some rust holes in the tire mounting area but seems rather solid and I believe there is plenty to work with to restore it. The fender and gas tank have some minor dings in them that should be easy enough to work out. It has the name cast into the flywheel an also the neck of the cylinder. It has the correct Smith carburetor and National magneto on it. |

An ebay buy it now price seen online Oct 26 2015. Here is a nice Alsport Trisport three wheeler from the early 70s in great running and cosmetic shape. We replaced the engine that was on it with a new Briggs and Stratton 6.5 HP motor. The engine we took off is also included if buyer wants it. We just chose to put a new engine on since the old engine had set for so long. New engine has an electric starter on it and I will include a solenoid. Buyer would have to mount a small battery somewhere and a switch if they want to use the electric starter. We never hooked it up because it always starts on one or two pulls of the pull starter. The seat is not original and can be left on it or taken off when riding. This trisport has what I believe to be the original tires on it including the hard rubber tire on the wheely bar on the back which is good to have because this thing will ride wheelies. The front tire is badly weather cracked and now does not hold air so I have a tube that goes with it but just not installed. These things are a blast to ride and much easier to steer than a regular three wheeler because they have independent brakes on the back. Meaning you have a left rear brake handle and a right rear brake handle so turns nicely. There is some pitting and very minor surface rust on the chrome bars and handle but nothing major. Buyer is to arrange and pay for any shipping. |

The previous owner wanted it in perfect running condition prior to me picking it up so it was fully serviced including a brand new front tire (he provided me the original which will come with it). This ATC runs, rides, and stops as good as it looks and all lights switches and controls work as they should. It does not burn or leak a drop of anything. Gas tank is clean inside and it is 100% ready to go. I must stress this ATC has as never been painted, touched up, or detailed. Comes complete as pictured with a notarized bill of sale. |

Oct 22 2015 sale. Harry saw on Craigslist and called about it. Asking price was $1450 - it sold for $1200.00. Here is a very sought-after antique lawn tractor that was made in 1954. This 3-wheeled Bantam is in overall good shape, though the paint job is only fair - quite durable but not exactly show quality. The Briggs and Stratton engine (original) was completely rebuilt about 15 years ago, but has never been started! Even the pull rope is brand new. I do keep oil in the engine and turn it over every once and a while. With a better paint job, this tractor would be the star of a tractor/farm equipment show. Or put it in the bed of your collectible pickup truck at a car show. Tires are either original or very nice period replacements. It was fully restored aprox 5yrs ago. speedo gauge is original and shows 22832 but I was told by last owner that it was only ridden a few thousand miles after restored and I have only put very few miles on it my self. I got it 2 years ago and have only rode it a hand full of times otherwise it just sets in the garage. I want it to go to someone who can appropriate it for what it is.
it was restored fully from ground up and everything was kept to original as far as I can see even the tire type, everything redone including motor and transmission. Runs good is cold blooded but all these 45s are. It is a 1968 but still has a 45ci motor in it. It is a police edition so it is a LEFT hand throttle with right hand tank shift. Foot clutch also. has alternator on it for when it had the police lights and siren ( I did not get any of those parts when I got the bike). Everything is black on the bike and looks great, has a small crack in the fiberglass right behind the seat where it touches the frame, so it is not show room perfect but very, very close! |

Ad said - This auction is for a rare Gendron Velocipede or Tricycle known as Little Beauty made from 1901-1905. It was made in Toledo, Ohio by the Gendron Iron Wheel Company. It has all original parts including the padded seat and back upholstery, which while shabby, is intact. It has some minor rust areas which adds to the patina. It has wooden ends on the steering bar, iron wheels, and the Gendron badge on the rear of the seat. It is 52 inch long, 25 inch wide, and 34 inch to the top of the back rest. An unusual piece. While I am listing it as local pickup, I will work with the buyer on finding a shipper. I am located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia close to Interstate 81, exit 227. Its ready to Ride! Brand New Battery just installed. The lights and brakes work, but as you can see, there is a small tear in the seat leather which we taped over, nothing that duck tape cant cover up and its really not that bad. There is a small oil leak and one tiny crack in the mud flap. This bike has hand brakes as well as a foot peg brake on the right side. It has a COBRA exhaust and a Rear Rack in great shape. The Fork Boots are in good condition, no rips. |
