Our Market Watch section is an online searchable database and it is smart phone friendly. It was set up as a database for vehicle price data; however we have added other collectibles as well. For example, under “Make” you can search for Paul McCartney for price data related to Paul McCartney collectibles. You can also use the database to see what celebrity ownership of a vehicle does to the value. For example, under “Model” search for Trans Am, click here to view the results. You can also search the Market Watch for famous/well know collections that have sold, for example, here is the data for the Bruce Weiner Microcar Auction. And here is the data for the Lee Roy Hartung collection that sold years ago. We have also included price data from TV shows such as Jay Lenos Garage, American Pickers, and others, simply search under “Make” for Jay Lenos Garage and click on search.  The database allows you to compare asking price, book value, actual sale price, etc.  You can also view offers versus sale price.  Click here to view offers versus sale price.  The database includes aircraft, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, collectibles, avionics, engines, car parts, aircraft parts, and more.

Suzuki ALT50 Trail Buddy 1983 $1,650 An ebay buy it now price seen online March 23 2015. This is a 3 wheeler ATC. VIN KM1TA11A5D1112083. 50 cc engine. 2 stroke. Up for sale is my little Suzuki Trail Buddy ALT50 that is in amazing condition for being 32 years old. I would say it has less that 20 hours on it going by the amount of tread on the tires which is about 75%. The only things that are not original are the rear fender decals and the seat cover which I had professionally done to match the original. Everything else is 100% original and in great shape including the grips. The tires are not dry rotted and have little wear. It starts and runs perfect and even has the rear kill switch shut off cord mounted to the grab bar. The tank shines like new and doesnt have any noticeable scratches except for a little scuffing where the seat hits it which I think happens to all of these. I put a thick piece of black tape to prevent further scuffing. The plastics have no cracks and shine nicely with no noticeable scratching. Seller: throwbackcycles. 561 301 3500

Steve McQueen Harley X8E 1912 $117,300 Sale by Bonhams in Jan 2015. The ex-Steve McQueen 1912 Harley-Davidson X8E sold for a price of $117,300. 1912 Harley-Davidson X8E Big Twin, described as being in full running condition and coming complete with a controversial rattle-can paint job. The story goes that McQueen and painter Von Dutch may have added the red overspray while enjoying a few adult beverages one evening, but it is probably more likely they were peeling the bad paint job off and stopped when they found the original paint underneath. Like the 1936 Indian, this bike has been seen at auction before, selling at the Steve McQueen estate auction at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas in 1984. Its rumored that McQueen actually rode the bike in a vintage motorcycle event, and it comes complete with the signatures of daughter Terry (who died of respiratory failure in 1998) and son Chad. It is not in its original form, however, as the wheels were changed and a headlight added after the bike left McQueens hands; despite these modifications, the Harley is expected to sell in the $120,000 to $140,000 range.

Cessna 150 G 1967 $14,800 Not a sale price. ebay auction that ended March 22 2015. Bidding got up to $14,800 and reserve was not met. N3211J. Total time on airframe (TTAF) 4066 hours, time on engine since major overhaul (TSMOH) 1370 hours. Annual inspection performed September 2014. Aircraft is in great running shape with no mechanical problems. This aircraft has Cessna factory approved modifications to allow intentional spins which makes ideal for CFI trainees in order to get the spin endorsement and for students interested in the spin training. Avionics include a King KX-125 NAV-COMM with digital VOR display and a digital Mode C transponder, Narco brand. Pitot static system and transponder inspections have nearly a year remaining so the plane is legal for IFR flight. This is a solid airplane that could use cosmetic work. Complete logs dating back to its birth flight at the Cessna factory. I just bought the plane in Nebraska and flew it from Kerney to Miami, Florida without issues.
Harley Davidson Servicar 1960 $4,555 Not a sale price. ebay auction that ended March 22 2015. Bidding got up to $4,555.00 and reserve was not met. VIN 60G234. 750 cc engine. This Harley Servi-Car has had a lot of restoration completed but there is still work to do. It was completely disassembled and rebuilt frame up. The frame was bead blasted and then powder coated. Brakes were rebuilt with new wheel cylinders. A new wiring harness replaced the old frayed one. The engine was rebuilt with new pistons (+.020) and valves. New crank seal installed. The transmission was disassembled, cleaned and reassembled with new seals. I have a complete log of the work done to make this a good running vehicle that I will be happy to provide to an interested buyer. It started on the third kick after the rebuild. It is an easy starting and smooth running engine. The body has all major parts needed to complete, as far as I know. It had a lot of surface rust which I bead blasted off. The inside of the box has not been done as well as some of the box frame members. I have a new repop front fender. I also have the original rear fenders. They are pretty thin and will take some work to get into paintable condition, but they are doable. Repops are available, also. The box itself is in very good shape for an original. The box lid has been bead blasted inside and out to bare metal. Chain guard included but not installed. Same for a set of drag pipes that I got to replace the rusted out pipes that were on the bike when I got it. A new (in box) correct battery is also included. The tires are new. Mileage is unknown. The speedo works but at 2x actual speed. A different gear is needed for the speedo. The frame has the correct springs but shocks will have to be acquired. Wherever possible I reused the original hardware. All of it was rusty. Each nut and bolt was wire wheeled down to bare metal then given a hot oil treatment to return to a normal patina. It came out very well. When I got this vehicle I was told that it had been stored in a metal shed in Florida for 20 years. It was in very sad shape and the engine would not turn. It is now a licensed and titled driver.
Messerschmitt KR175 1955 $25,300 Not a sale price. An ebay auction that ended March 21 2015. Bidding got up to $25,300 USD and reserve was not met. VIN 8154. 8950 miles. 1955 Messerschmitt KR175 with 8,950 original miles and a low 4 digit VIN number. This Messerschmitt is 60 years old and is in great shape for its age. It has a new scratch on the left fender that happened last fall coming off a trailer from a car show. The car looks great but up close it has scratches, chips, etc.. No dents, no rust, no bondo from I can tell. The car runs but could use some TLC. The brakes need to be looked at, the car pulls to one side when applying the brakes. Their seems to be a small drip of fuel, from what I can tell it seems to be a gasket. I am not a mechanic nor a auto body specialist so I highly recommend the car is inspected prior to taking delivery.

Mustang Deliverycycle 1963 $14,300 Sale by RM Auctions Dec 2007. Specifications: 9.5hp, 318cc side-valve single-cylinder Kinner Bumble Bee engine. Gladden Products initially started building its Mustang scooters immediately after World War II and introduced its first three-wheeled model in 1949. This Mustang Delivery Cycle was fitted with the Model 2’s backward Kinner engine and enjoyed a variety of practical applications that, among other tasks, included parking meter service. The Delivery Cycle offered here is attractively finished in black with gold pin striping and retains a lovely, well-restored appearance. The quality of the paint, brightwork, and mechanical components are all very impressive and the black leather seat, in particular, is simply perfect. Accordingly, the tires are virtually as new and the chrome rear bumper exhibits a very nice shine. The engine, meanwhile, is consistent with the remainder of the bike; it has been cleaned and is free of any visible dirt or grime. Light, quick, and very practical, this Delivery Cycle is a rather unusual but especially eye-catching Mustang.

Yamaha YT175J Tri-Moto 1982 $925 ebay sale March 17 2015. Selling my 1982 Yamaha YT175J. I have owned it for 4 years and its time to make some room in my garage. I have put all new tires on, two new wheels on the rear and just freshened up the top end. ( Rings-wrist pin bearing-gaskets as expected.) I never owned one before so it was unique to ride in the yard. It runs well and would make a nice addition to someones collection of Yamahas. The enclosed chain covers are gone, I would guess mud was hard on these back in the day. I have only put about 2 miles on it in 4 years. It was a northern Mi find and the last time it was registered was 1985 ORV permit. The title is in my name. Some scratches and abrasions , no broken plastic. Marks here and there. Overall nice but not showroom condition by any means. Marks on the rear grab handle indicate its been in a full wheelie.

Harley Davidson Servicar 1958 $13,500 ebay sale March 15 2015. VIN 5861744. Seller: harleydeel. 750 cc engine. Model is a GE750. 1958 Harley-Davidson Flathead Servicar Fire Trike. Motorcycle is cosmetically in very good condition with very few nicks and blemishes. The motorcycle has not been run in many years and I cannot speak to the running condition. When I purchased the bike in 2001 I was told the bike took at Junior First Place at Wauseon in 2000 and judged at 98 points. However, I have no documentation in hand to confirm this. 750CC - 45 Cubic Inches. Flathead Engine (Harley-Davidsons longest running production engine). Constant Mesh 3 Speed Transmission with Reverse Gear. Odometer shows 1009 Miles. This motorcycle comes with a clear title. Titled as 1958 Harley-Davidson. The case numbers are correct and matching (begins with number 358)
Harley Davidson Servicar 1941 $13,500 Not a sale price. An ebay auction that ended March 15 2015. Starting bid was $13,500 USD. It got 0 bids. Seller: 47bobber. 1941 Servi-Car up for Auction. Starts up usually first ignition kick after 3 primers. Older, but very presentable restoration. Rebuilt 6v Generator. New battery. Original nelson muffler. Belly numbers do match. I was told from prior owner that the box and front fender are reproduction. I do not know how to tell, can only take his word for it. Speedo does work, but has no miles on it since resent installation. Goes down the road in all three gears and reverse, no issues. There are a couple spots where the paint has scuffed through on the front fender and a spot on the left rear fender. I think it adds character, or you could easily touch it up with some touch up paint. When I got this bike it had a full length leather windshield attached to it, which left marks in the paint on the handlebars from where it mounted. The windshield is not included with the sale, but will be offered to the winning bidder for an extra $100. I do not have a title for this motorcycle, nor can I get one due to the laws in my state.

Hummel 155 1964 $5,350 ebay sale March 14 2015. Vin 1552003841. 1964 DKW Hummel 155 project bike. No title, I have marked the title as salvage in eBays title field, but their is NO TITLE. Both wheels are reasonably true and spin freely, both Continental tires hold air and are probably the original tires, being a half century old the tires are not road worthy. With the help of a little oil I was able to un-seize the motor via the kick starter. One will need more than a fresh plug to get this running. Included are a couple of brake levers and a spare carburetor. The bike is available for inspection and pick up in Chicago

BSA Family Four 3 wheeler 1931 $3,500 An offer made by Harry Kraemer that was not accepted. For sale at http://www.connecticutclassix.com/products-page-2/bsa/1934-bsa-family-four/. On March 5 2015 Harry contacted the seller/broker and was told that $7000.00 would buy the vehicle. The BSA Three Wheel car was produced from 1929 through 1936. During these seven years around 5200 vehicles were produced. The car was produced in several variants, this car is a Family Four model which had seating in the front for two adults and two staggered jump seats in the rear for small children. This particular car is powered by a Hotchkiss design Air Cooled 90 Degree V-Twin of 1021cc displacement. The Hotchkiss is an overhead valve motor with a single downdraft Solex carb. Unlike the contemporary Morgan, this is a front wheel drive vehicle and has 3 forward speeds and electric start. This car was imported from the UK about 6 years ago and is largely complete. It comes with a Buff Logbook with multiple entries and stamps from the 50s. This car will need a full restoration, though the gauges have already been professionally restored. A rarity in the US, or anywhere for that matter, this Three Wheeler would be a unique addition to any collection. Update 1-13-2015 - After doing a full inventory I have found this car complete with the exception of the following: Headlights, front grill badge, 4 pushrods and the spare tire.
Westcoaster Mailster 1965 $2,000 ebay sale March 12 2015. Painted in USPS colors. Up for bid is a 1965 Westcoast Mailster used in the 50s & 60s to deliver mail twice a day. It drives fine and the 3 speed transmission shifts as it should. It was repainted and re-striped but does have some fading and chips. The lights and gauges work with the exception of the gas gauge that was not reconnected when I had the gas tank repaired and relined. Even the alternating flashers work. There is a drain on the battery when parked. Remedied by taking the battery cable off. It has a working personal cooling fan in the ceiling but is missing the outside pot lid mirror. Fun to drive around the neighborhood or in parades. A real eye catcher. I basically has an Onan engine with alternator and fuel pump under the seat.

John Lennon Paperback Writer guitar 2014 $530,000 From a post on Facebook March 9 2015. John Lennons famed Paperback Writer guitar was bought by Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay for $530,000. Last November (Nov 2014), John Lennons Gretsch guitar, the instrument the rock legend used to record the Beatles 1966 classic Paperback Writer hit the auction block, with TracksAuction, the company selling the instrument, calling it the most significant of Johns guitars to come onto the market in the last 30 years. Lennons cousin, David Birch, had owned the instrument since 1967, but pulled the iconic guitar from auction after it failed to reach its $600,000 reserve. It was hardly the end of the story, though. For months before and after the auction, Chris McKinney, the guitar curator for Indianapolis Colts owner and collector Jim Irsay, had been in contact with Birch, hoping to avoid the auction and buy the guitar directly on behalf of Irsay. When the instrument didnt sell at auction, Irsay paid $530,000 for the Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins hollow body. The John Lennon guitar used on Paperback Writer and other sessions with the Beatles is a significant piece of history, Irsay tells Rolling Stone. John Lennons guitars are as special as it gets. Instruments like this rarely become available, so anything John Lennon used is some of the most important historical musical archives that exist on the planet. McKinney admits that Birch originally didn\'t want to sell the instrument for less than $600,000. Hes a feisty old Englishman, McKinney says. It took about 15 figures paddled back and forth before everyone agreed to the $530,000 figure.

Honda ATC 250ES Big Red 1985 $2,650 ebay sale March 3 2015. Up for auction is a beautiful 1985 Honda Big Red 250 ES 3 wheeler that is in amazing shape! I am the second owner. The original owner had a Honda dealership un upstate New York where it was ridden and used a few times for the first few years and then placed into storage. It is all original except for the rear tires. I have the original rear tires to go with it as well, but one will need a patch or plug. The inside of the fuel tank is like brand new with no rust! The trike is a semi-automatic (you still shift but no clutch) and it has reverse! Please look at the pictures carefully and ask any questions before bidding! You are welcome to come see it before bidding! There are some minor wear marks/scuffs from use, but is should clean up real nice! The right side rear mudflap is cracked (I bought it that way), but I have another used one to go with it New battery, new Uni air filter, and fresh oil change with a Honda filter. Everything works just as it should, including the parking brake!
Yamaha Tri-Moto YT175J 1982 $700 ebay sale March 3 2015.

Harley Davidson Model RR Truck 1934 $37,500 ebay sale March 2 2015. ebay seller - now71. This price was reported to me by the seller. Price is USD. Sold to buyer in the states. Located in Japan. 750 cc engine. In 1935 Japanese Harley-Davidson start to made 500(model C),750(model R) &1200cc(VL) motorcycle under US Harley-Davidson license. Also all three types had truck model. This truck is 1934 so maybe motorcycle component parts made by US HD and added truck chassis at Japanese HD. But I am not sure truth is. I only know pre WW2 truck is one left in Japan. Most of truck was re-fabricate to regular motorcycle back in 50s for Japanese DMV and drivers license reason. For pics see this link, it is the green one in this Flickr set. https://www.flickr.com/photos/flymall/sets/72157650271877581/

Ford Pickup 1938 $14,099 ebay sale Feb 1 2015. VIN 184710916. 20,644 miles. V8. 95HP 24 Stud Flathead V8, 3-Speed Manual Transmission on the floor, Medium Blue with Dark Blue accent on the fenders, Cream Colored Spoke Wheels, 16 inch Specialty Tires of America with Tube load range C, Upgraded 12 volt charging system. This Truck was a frame off restoration and completed during the mid nineties. It was driven.... to car shows, nice afternoon cruises, etc. This truck is painted underneath and cleans up well, if you want to make it show quality. I have enjoyed owning this piece of history and now it is time to let you enjoy it... I had all the brakes checked, cleaned, rebuilt a couple of wheel cylinders and it stops like it should. Funny...Stops like it should.... Dual exhaust is all there, bumpers are clean and re-chromed, Blinkers were added and they work, Windshield tips out with crank knob (that is my favorite part). It cruises at 45mph...It will go more, uncomfortably... Seat is in great shape, floor pans are wood and the cab has had two spots of rust both are visible under the cab corners...still there. The cab was bead blasted and osfoed. Very solid frame, solid Cab, solid body ALL STEEL!!!! This could easily put back to complete original with out a lot of expense. windows roll up and down, spare never got mounted, however the bracket is in the bed. Wood bed is there, a little loose, pretty much the 90 year old owner did his best to keep it up himself, so some of the parts I have found to be loose. All the motor, transmission and other important parts are tight
