The ad read as follows - We spotted this cool-looking cart for sale last year and my wife wanted it to use as a motorized garden cart around our property. I drove it all around the sellers yard, it runs great. Drove it up on the trailer and off into our garage after we bought it. Two days later I started it up and the clutch would not engage. DRAT! I just have too many other things to do so..... rather than fix the clutch I am passing it along to a new home. I am not going to mislead you here- this is only a good deal for someone who has experience with these carts and their centrifugal clutches. None of the golf cart dealers around here work on them anymore. A used clutch sold last year on eBay for $225, but they are not common. Can this clutch be repaired or rebuilt? I do not know. I have removed the cover and nothing inside appears broken. Aluminum pickup truck style box is attached to the body with 4 bolts and can be easily removed. We will keep it and knock $100 off the sale price if you do not want it. |

ebay sale Sept 27 2014. Three wheel golf cart. This 1967 Harley Davidson Gas Powered golf cart is a collectors item!!! It runs great, and is in god condition considering it is almost 50 years old. Original Engine, drivetrain, fiberglass, etc. I added a small headlight for night cruising. There are several small cracks in the fiberglass and I replaced the back bumper corners with diamond plate aluminum for structural purposes. It has a good battery and the fuel tank is clean and doesn\'t leak. Runs on a oil/gas mixture, and I will include a quart of the mix. Seat cushions replaced last year, along with new vinyl. Sometimes needs a little starting fluid to get started if it has sat for more than a week, otherwise runs great. |

This 1912 Box Van was exported to the United States by Gerald Planus, when he emigrated from Rushden, Northamptonshire to White Plains, New York. When found by John Moir, it was a “bitsa” in the care of Robert Swanson of Ridgefield, Connecticut. Swanson had bought it from Derek Durst, erstwhile owner of other cars from the Moir collection. Mr. Moir had the vehicle restored to replicate those used by Gieves, Ltd., the Portsmouth naval tailors, as illustrated in their centenary booklet. Gieves, antecedents of the present Gieves & Hawkes, were tailors to the King and thus earned the Royal Warrant. David Steinman of Waitsfield, Vermont performed the restoration to the very high standard seen. Painted in dark green, it has a harmonising lighter grey-green box, with the Gieves livery to sides and front. The seat is upholstered in black leather, and the vehicle is immaculate throughout. The brass lamps and appointments are highly polished, and the Michelin tyres still show their mould-marks. The van bears the London-issued registration number LK4798, but accompanying documentation is not available. This is a highly desirable rendition of the familiar A.C. Box Van and is certain to please the most fastidious A.C. aficionado. |

One of the ideas put forward was the motorized delivery tricycle. These small, light delivery vehicles were ideal for the distribution of parcels within towns and cities. They were driven by lads in their early teens which helped keep running costs down. Many small businesses used them, particularly butchers and grocers who had to deliver a lot of small items over a wide area. Here we present a 1914 Motor Carrier, produced by John Warrick and Co. from Reading. This company was established in 1877 and famous fortheir Monarch tricycles.
Steering is of the tiller variety. Push it to turn right, pull it back to turn left. Its easy enough to get used to it, though the turning circle is not brilliant by comparison with later vehicles. The controls are on the tiller steering column. Throttle is the top lever and the choke is below.
Pulling either control lever toward you advances it. The shorter handle, above the tiller steering, is for the two-speed gears. The petrol tank can also be observed in front of the driver. The driver sits above the engine. We noticed some vibration at a standstill, though it eases when driving off. This Warrick Motor Carrier retained its original commercial body, which was used pre-war by a bakers in Emsworth, Hants.
The Warricks original box is in excellent condition for a wooden structure that’s 100 years old. Its unusual for a vehicle this old to still retain any record of its original sale. The single cylinder engine ( bore x stroke 95 x 102 mm) has a high speed cooling fans that are friction driven off the flywheel, which have spokes cast in fan form to assist cooling. The rear hub houses a two speed epicyclic gear of the ROC type. The sparks come from a Bosch magneto, the mixture is provided by Brown& Barlow. ebay sale Sept 14 2014. This is a 1970 Rokon Trailbreaker that has been stored inside most of its life. It has the normal rust and wear and tear for a machine that has been around for 44 years. There is a 2 inch slit on the bottom right side of the seat and a small hole in the front mud flap. The engine has 110 psi of compression and the transmission shifts and works like it was designed. There doesnt appear to be any leaks from any of the oil seals and the inside of the gas tank looks new no rust. Brakes work good and headlight works on high and low beam and tail light also works. Tires look to be 90 percent. |

It has lots of patina and the motor is stuck. this is a moment in time of art and is a great candidate for rebuild or not...It is a real factory bike with title and information back to 1942. It does not run. This Indian 101 Scout was purchased by the second by the owner in 1944 in the Detroit Michigan area. This 101 Scout motorcycle was last run in 1972 and it was lightly used up until then beginning in 1946 or so when the owner came home from the War. This is an incredible save of a great piece of American Motorcycling history. The familys written story of the motorcycle goes with the sale. This 101 Scout has a current California Title. This is not a perfect 101 Scout according to the books but it is a great piece of American motorcycling history. The engine number is 150 numbers prior to the 101 sequence. The frame is a 101 frame as is most of the sheet metal. The rear fender is hinged which is a late 1929 item. The family has records back to 1942 with the bike as is. This 101 Scout motorcycle is a barn find original motorcycle. Unknown mileage on the motorcycle. 38,101 miles indicated on the speedometer. Overall condition of the motorcycle indicates strong use. The rear tire is bald and the kick pedal is smooth. Paint: The paint on this motorcycle is sporting its original patina, May be original paint but the tank decal has been upgraded.
