Our Market Watch section is an online searchable database and it is smart phone friendly. It was set up as a database for vehicle price data; however we have added other collectibles as well. For example, under “Make” you can search for Paul McCartney for price data related to Paul McCartney collectibles. You can also use the database to see what celebrity ownership of a vehicle does to the value. For example, under “Model” search for Trans Am, click here to view the results. You can also search the Market Watch for famous/well know collections that have sold, for example, here is the data for the Bruce Weiner Microcar Auction. And here is the data for the Lee Roy Hartung collection that sold years ago. We have also included price data from TV shows such as Jay Lenos Garage, American Pickers, and others, simply search under “Make” for Jay Lenos Garage and click on search.  The database allows you to compare asking price, book value, actual sale price, etc.  You can also view offers versus sale price.  Click here to view offers versus sale price.  The database includes aircraft, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, collectibles, avionics, engines, car parts, aircraft parts, and more.

Chip Foose Foose Coupe 2009 $300,000 A sale price as posted online April 2007. Well, weve been covering the story of Chip Fooses Foose Coupe since before SEMA, and it all finally culminated over the weekend at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach, where the first customer car brought $300,000 when the gavel fell. That would ultimately be the top sale recorded over the weekend. The winning bidder gets to work directly with Foose to pick out the color schemes, wheel design, and in this particular case, even the motor -- either a Ford GT unit or the 392 HEMI crate engine as seen in the green prototype. Only 50 cars will be built, and the top bidder actually scored a little bit of a deal. You see, each Foose Coupe has a base price of $295,000 anyway, so the extra one-on-one personalization experience with Chip only added an additional $5,000 to the price for the first-ever customer car. Expectations were surely higher, so even though this was the top seller, dollarwise, the number it brought must have been a disappointment.
Chip Foose Hemisfear 2009 $340,000 In 2007, Foose began limited production (50 vehicles in total) of the Hemisfear. Also known as the Foose Coupe, the Hemisfear was designed by Foose in 1990 during his time at the Art Center and publicly unveiled at the SEMA trade show in November 2006. An earlier design drawing of the Hemisfear served as the inspiration for the Plymouth Prowler. The 2007 Hemisfear was commissioned by a new die cast model car company JL Full Throttle which had partnered with Foose to build both the real Hemisfear and scale models of the car. A Foose Coupe was sold along with a design consultation with Foose at the Barrett-Jackson car auction in Palm Beach, Florida at the end of March 2007. The 1st Foose Coupe Supercar was auctioned for $340,000 sold to Atlanta vintage car dealer and avid car collector Roger Burgess.
Chip Foose Hemisfear Hot Rod Coupe 2010 $298,000 Originally there was to be just one car, but that changed with the involvement of Metalcrafters. Run by the Gaffoglio family and Mike Alexander (of the famous Alex-ander Brothers), Metalcrafters is a West Coast-based fabrication shop (for lack of a better term-the place is amazing) thats used by almost every OE manufacturer and a ton of high-end aftermarket companies. Chip talked to Metalcrafters about digitizing his model and making a fullsize foam buck out of it, and by the time they were done Metalcrafters had agreed to build the car, as well as another 49 that it would sell to anyone who wanted one. The cars will all be built at Metalcrafters and will be sold through both Metalcrafters and Unique Performance in Texas. The price is $298,000, and there are numerous options.
Chip Foose Model A 1930 $115,000 Not a sale price. An asking price as seen online - it was an ad that expired Oct 11 2011. A Chip Foose built car on Overhaulin. Body: Caltime Metals provided all the sheet metal to put the car back together, including tubing and flat metal to make the floor pan and hood. Yep, those pieces were hand formed to fit, which took some serious skill and finesse. Chip Foose says they stretched the nose so much to fit the Y-block with the 32 frame that they pulled the front end up, but they kept the commercial 32 grille that was on it so it was still Matts car. Windshield: David Willey of Foose Design came up with a cast-aluminum DuVall-style windshield frame. David widened it until it fit-and the rest of the team widened the cowl to fit the frame rails. Chassis: A Total Cost Involved (TCI) chassis was selected when the original unit found under the car was determined to be in very sad shape. The new 32 frame would give the car a much better profile with its sweeping lines and provide a much sturdier platform with its boxed rails. The rear of the frame was shortened 6 inches to tuck the 32 Ford fuel tank under the rear of the Model A body. Up front is a chromed and polished stainless I-beam and hairpin set up with a monoleaf transverse spring, with a four-bar and coilover suspension in the rear. SO-CAL Speed Shop Buick-style disc brakes slow down the front with a pair of Ford 9-inch drums in the rear.
