This is the model that has the Dual-range transmission which means it has 10 gears – you just flip the switch on the left hand side and you can have low gears for the dirt of high gears for the street – so you can operate on the street as well as the trails. You can see the H and L designations on the left side of the crank in the picture. The tires appear to the original tires and have some cracks around the bead of the rims. It has compression but has not been started in several years. It does not have a battery and the gas tank will need to be cleaned and it is missing the ignition, rear taillight, the front headlight/brace and the front fork lock. The rear fender has been cut short and it is missing the gas petcock. It will require a new seat cover. |

This scooter has less than 100 miles since complete restoration and I have the receipts that total more than $ 4,500 dollars of restoration costs. These are very rare scooters especially with a sidecar and never come up for sale on Ebay. The speedometer shows 8925 miles. The engine was completely rebuilt, new top end and the exhaust was replaced with a polished Sito Plus system. That receipt alone was $3600. The luggage and tire racks were rechromed and the complete scooter and sidecar was reupholstered with sidecar seat, sidecar cover, seat and a custom made cover and that receipt is $950. It has an awesome custom Italian flag paint job of green, white and red. |

New king pin bushes, Drive shaft boots, Rear wheel bearings and a complete overhaul of the front brake system including new master cylinder and wheel cylinders. The car was built to a high standard back in 1989 there is a photo record of the build and lots of receipts. It carries its original registration number of 1973. It is eligible for vintage club runs and this is what it has been used for in recent years. As stated the car is in overall great condition, it is however an old car and does carry some signs of use. Nothing to detract from its head turning ability but it is on the road and used not just sitting in a garage. |

This has to be one of the most well documented existing BSAs you will find, new owner receives the original bill of sale from Comerfords to me, the original British license plates (front & rear), the original British tax disc, original quality acceptance card, export invoice, Certificate of Underwriters Insurance, shipping papers via Cargo Superintendents (London)shipping the motorcycle from England to Ohio, original owners manual,a BSA Workshop Manual from BSA Birmingham, and a Catalogue of Genuine BSA Spares. Also included will be a set of Whitworth combination wrenches and a small set of Whitworth sockets. This motorcycle is original with the exception of the front mudguard (replaced with Brit replacement 1970s). The only time a case was removed was to replace the clutch plates (1970s), the motor has never been apart, and it still runs great with no smoke from exhaust, and you wont find puddles of oil under it like most Brit bikes of the era. The exterior of the motor looks very good with the exception of some small dimples from where a mechanic tried to remove the kick starter pin, and there is some very minimal surface rust in the painted fin section of the cylinder barrel (a genuine can of Brit Granville Cylinder Paint included with sale), no damage to fins. The tank, 4 gallon Brit model, has never been coated inside, the left side has 3 fifty cent piece size dents from being moved in trucks, the right side is dent free, the paint is original and in good condition, with some fading and a small worn spot near fuel cap, but nowhere near show worthy (a new tank top Thunderbolt Brit made decal is included), the petcocks are original with new inserts with viton o-rings (original inserts and new cork included). |

The Birimingham Small Arms Company (BSA), located in Small Heath, Birmingham (UK) broke into the transportation industry originally bicycles before moving into the motorized cycle space. The three wheeler you see here came onto the scene in 1934, 5 years after the first BSA three wheeler (the Beeza) was introduced in 1929. The Beeza, and in fact this three wheeler, employed a Nine horsepower (1100 CC, air cooled) Hotchkiss engine to power its front wheels. The BSA featured some luxury options for its day - all weather protection and electric starters were standard. This specific example is in great condition. The odometer reads 24,441 - which is likely to be original given the vehicle condition - but cannot be confirmed due to age. The body itself has no real damage, although the paint is starting to show age and is clearly Not the original paint. There is no, and has been no rust damage on this vehicle. The metal itself is in good condition.
