Selling my 3/4 Citabria, single seat lightweight. Plane is registered as an ultralight under the name but have been told it falls in a grey area weight wise but is basically a lightweight. It is all metal frame construction and I have original build photos. We haven’t been able to pinpoint what frame this may have been constructed from. It has a fuel capacity of 11 gallons (3 in both wings gravity fed to a 5 in the rear). It now has a Rotax 503 engine that has 150 hours. The gentleman passed away and I purchased it. He flew it a lot but I have not flown it. It has sat and needs new fuel lines and battery but it was hangared and he definitely took good care. I did some cleaning and everything is as it should be. Tires do have some cracking, they could be replaced. But overall it’s a bird ready to go with small tlc. I think 6k is more than a fair price but am open to discuss. Questions please pm me and I will do my best to answer questions. Currently hangared in Holly Hill, SC. |

For Sale is a very clean Yamaha XS650E engine for $475. Also a 38mm carb set $150. I bought these 3 years ago to go vintage flat track racing, which I never did. The guy I bought them from had the following descriptions:
1978 Yamaha XS650E engine. Serial #2FO-109873. I bought this engine as a backup for my 1977 XS650 but have never needed. Comes with kick start lever, gearshift lever and intake manifolds. Engine turns over with good compression. No broken fins. Starter works fine. Not quite showroom but very, very nice.
Yamaha XS650 carb set. These are Mikuni BS-38. I think these are correct for 1978-1980 XS650 but can be used with most XS650 engines. I did a basic cleaning when I first got them. Slides are in good shape and the rubber diaphragms are flexible and are not ripped or torn. I applied silicone lube to keep them in good shape. Chokes and throttle move freely. Carbs will need new gaskets.
Local pick up only. I’m located in Troutman, NC about 25 miles north of Charlotte. |

Former Argentine Owners: E. Phillips and (Lerenzo) Norberto Fernandez of Rio Gallegos. Registered under their names 1/03/1931 and stricken from records 12/1/1938.
This airframe was one of several Curtiss Aircraft, including Curtiss JN-4’s and Orioles, imported to Argentina by the Curtiss Aeroplane Company in the 1920’s. This airframe along with several other Curtiss Orioles returned to the US to become part of the Tallmantz Aircraft Collection.
