This auction is for a vintage 1973 Harley Davidson/AMF Model D 3 wheel golf cart Serial # 3B14301-H3. The cart has been totally refurbished with custom paint, custom seats, and many new parts. The cart was purchased by the previous owner in the early 1970s from a golf course and garage kept for nearly 40 years and sold to us last fall. When we purchased the cart nearly all the body, frame and engine were totally original, even the front tire was labeled made by Harley Davidson. We then removed all the body parts (heavy fiberglass not the current plastic), removed all trim pieces, separated individual parts, prepped and sent to a body shop for paint. The Harley black/orange theme was selected and matched to the new custom seats. The frame and accessory pieces where cleaned and/or painted. When the body returned the underside insulation was replaced with Thermo-Tec sound and heat protection. Some of the new parts added are in the following list:

The motor is a 1 cylinder 250cc 2 stroke and runs in forward and reverse controlled by the FWD/REV switch on the floor board at the base of the rear body. The motor runs great with a top speed of 15 mph. The lighting system we installed consists of 8 small LED lights - 2 amber front L&R for turn signals - 3 on each side of rear - 1 red running light - 1 red brake light - 1 amber turn signal. All are controlled from front cowling with 5 LED lighted switches - 1 master toggle - 1 left turn - 1 right turn - 1 rear running lights and LED headlight controlled through a 12v relay - 1 brake light ( since cart has a tiller for steering and no steering column all switches are manually operated from front cowl). Lights and rear placard are required in our community to be street legal. The rear area for the golf bags is protected with a coating of clear truck bed liner material. The original bag mats are installed and the bag holders have been removed but are included in the auction.
The overall condition is excellent and very original.
Cart is being sold with bill of sale only no title and sold AS-IS-Where-IS with no warranties implied or expressed.

I had never seen it before despite having grown up near where these were manufactured. My kids loved riding down our sloped driveway and around the neighborhood in this. Ours looks rough but runs well. I wish we still had the canopy like I have seen posted here. We store it standing up but we have a quad berg pedal cart and two person side by side with pedal assist that is easier for our daughter to get in and out of. Jim Bede of Bede Aviation is best known for making the small sport aircraft the BD-5 and the BD-5J. The BD-5J was made famous when it starred in James Bond Octopussy and James Bond Die Another Day. James Bede was an innovator who lived for aviation. He designed the revolutionary BD-10, which was the first Jet kit aircraft. This aircraft was shown, flown and displayed at the Reno Air Races. The LiteStar / Pulse autocycles were another revolutionary mode of transportation created by Jim Bede. He would take designs, parts and drawings from his BD-5 and create road worthy, street legal, fuel efficient vehicles that used engines and transmissions from motorcycles. There are believed to be about 360 autocycles built from 1980 to 1980. The last 100 were built by Jim himself, and were installed with bigger, faster 4 cylinder engines from a Honda Goldwing. This is thought to be one of those last few. It is still currently registered as its 1978 Honda Goldwing donar, like they all were, yet it is likely one of the last ever built due to its large wheelbase, leg room, headlight design and engine capabilities. It is missing the air leveler tank although the factory brackets are still in place. Car needs to be restored as the trunk pan is rotted, rear panel and drivers floor has a hole in it. The car does run and drive. The power windows work, the air conditioning goes on but doesnt come out cold and the power trunk works. The car is a code 28 Fathom Blue with a black vinyl top and black interior, I have had many of these and yet to see one with this color combo let alone all of these options |

We have been working on this car for a few months but have too many projects and cant keep this one. It has its original 12A and automatic transmition with no modifications . Interior is decent with very little tears and rips , the door panels have speaker holes as you can see in the pics. The gas tank was removed and a fuel cell is in it working well. All wheels , center caps and rings are there, tires are decent. All trim and emblems are there except the lower from wind shield trim . It has a fresh paint job we did ourselves but its not a professional job , we just painted the trunk lid as you can see in the pics, I would give the paint job a 6 out of 10 . Floors are great with no rust, some rust inside trunk but nothing you can see and can be fixed easily ( again didnt want to take on this project to 100%) Runs and drives pretty decent . New battery |

The car has been in storage since 1990. The metal on this car is very nice including the spare tire well but the passenger floor areas are rusted through and will need replaced. The door pillars are perfect as well as the rock assemblies and shock towers. The subframe is perfect. These had usually thick floormat padding and any poor storage allow them to rust. In other words, the passenger floors are the only rust problem. Although the engine compartment is very complete, the engine is rumored tired. The body is very nice original with only one paint over the original finish. The trim is all very nice including the grille. The glass is perfect with very nice original rubber. This is an original Bantam 5000 garden tractor, which are very rare, its the most powerful one with 5 horsepower and is a little longer and its the delux model of that model with the improved seat which there are no other models like this for sale that I can find, it was was well taken care of and actually used up until a few years ago so everything is intact but then he couldnt use it anymore due to age and gas was left in it and i think the carburetor is needing to be cleaned. It also comes with the Bantam pull wagon trailer that Hooks into the hitch in the back of the tractor to pull it, it has its original wheels and pulls fine just needs new paint. There are no holes from rust as it was kept in the shed just old paint, I attached some advertisements about it so you can see what it is, if you look online these look real nice when they are cleaned up and painted, I started to strip the old paint off but just dont have the time to restore it, but it comes with a new front wheel and tire the back tires actually still seem good. |

This cute and wonderful Lambretta Furgone micro car, with frame nr 513156, was constructed in the last week of May 1961. It has been in use as delivery van for flowers along the Italian Rivièra. Unfortunately, its owner passed away in 1972 and the Lambretta has been stored in a greenhouse until we purchased it in 1999. Given the few years that this Lambretta has been used it was in excellent condition. It has the original Italian license window stickers from 1972.
We have overhauled the Furgone to clean it and replace seals, ball-bearings and worn rubber parts where needed. We used a highly conservative approach and managed to preserve and re-use the vast majority of the original components. In the few places where required, we preferred original parts over new parts made in Asia.
We maintained the original paintwork with some minor wear and the characteristic red bar, preferring it over a shiny new paint job.
The result is a Lambretta Furgone in near-perfect original condition, probably one of the few in such condition of the total production of 71,681 between July 1960 and August 1965. After completing the restoration, the Lambretta was type approved in 2006 for use in Netherlands, including Dutch license plate. In the past years it has been used for various commercial purposes, including marketing for a pizzeria and for a pin-up photoshoot.
A key advantage of this restoration has been the fact that we managed to obtain another Furgone LI 175 with frame number 515452, produced late July 1961, as well as many parts of a third Furgone resulting in an ample supply of original parts. The second Furgone was in lesser condition, so we decided to sand blast all frame parts and protect it from rust with metal spray coating rather than using galvanization which deforms the thin parts of the structure. This second Forgone has been partially restored and is included in the price.
In the past years, our interests have shifted toward other restoration activities, so we did not find the time to complete restoration of the second Lambretta. By combining the two Lambrettas in one deal we offer the new owner(s) the pleasure of completing the restoration of the second Lambretta, using the first where needed to make sure work is done properly.
The price includes the restored Lambretta, including all parts of the second Lambretta as well as many other spare parts (including doors, gasoline tank, steering, etc). |
