This three-wheeler, made in the former Czechoslovakia, is an extremely rare sight in the United States. You can be fairly sure that you wont see another one at a cruise night or a car show. With its black and tan exterior, the painted fenders and canvas body panels, supported by steel tubing, are in good order. The cars glass panels are in good shape but the headlights show some patina due to age. The vehicle has two wheels ahead of the driver and a single, centered wheel behind the driver. With its canvas panels removed, the three-wheeler resembles a rolling bird cage.With its Jawa two-stroke, two-cylinder 350cc engine and a four-speed sequential manual transmission, the Velorex has a cruising speed of 37 miles per hour and a maximum speed of 53 mph. It weights 683 pounds unladen and has a maximum weight limit of 1,102 pounds |
