An ebay buy it now price seen online June 16 2016. 1984 HONDA GYRO NN50MD. This model was only sold in the US for one year. It is 32 years old so please keep that in mind. There are parts available, usually appear on Ebay, occasionally new old stock, but mostly used. This scooter is as you see it in the photo\'s. It starts, idles and runs perfectly. It is a very strong runner and the two speed shifts perfectly. The brakes work well. The battery is fresh. The fuel petcock is the original and works perfectly, but the white petcock handle shown in the photos is not the original but works as the original. The headlight, high and low beam and brake light, all work as they should. The directional turns do not but I am including a new blinker relay and a used left hand handlebar switch. The front fender has had some small cracks, but they have been repaired and are covered with a metallic materiel so appear presentable. A replacement solid used blue fender and entire leg shield is also included. |

Engine, transmission (automatic) and brakes all in good condition. All instruments, lights, horn, and turn indicators work. Plastic body still shiny and flexible without crazing. No rust on wheels and original tires show no signs of dry rot. Some minor rust on white basket. Only mechanical issue is lock for the seat. Fiberglass backing for the lock tumbler was broken out (damage visible on last photo) when key snagged by operators coat. All lock parts still work, but some creative repair techniques will be required to fabricate a new backing plate for the tumbler. Note: lock and tumbler not required to latch and unlatch the seat. Owners manual and Honda workshop manual both available in excellent condition. |

An ebay buy it now price seen online May 22 2016. Seller : only_original_once. eBay item number: 361563946444. Low miles (1,500) Excellent condition. Stored for the last 9 years. New, correct battery, runs well most of the time but does stall on occasion, I would recommend a tuneup in the form of a carburator clean, new spark plug and fresh gas, as it has been stored unridden for many years.
Some small scratches on plastic surfaces like fenders, some corrosion on gold annodized wheels. Still far less evidence of use than what would be expected on a 30 year old 50cc motorbike, these are usually beat to a pulp. Seat is perfect, no rips, fading or blemishes of any kind.
Complete, which is rare, except for the black plastic high beam switch cap, easy to find wouldnt even have to be a Honda part. Switch still works, just missing the cap. Original title from when purchased new in 1985. Deceased owner, title signed over by his wife, I had a conversation with the Illinois Secretary of State and that works fine here in Illinois, which has more rigid standards than most states. If you have any questions about this or anything else to do with this vehicle, please contact me. If you are familiar with the Gyro, I need not tell you how unique and fun they are. If you are not, the key is in the articulated ball and socket type joint just forward of the rear mounted engine. This allows the two rear wheels to stay flat while the driver leans into turns, carves esses, etc. As much fun as you can have on a scooter! Completely street legal with headlight, taillight, and 4 turn signals, all working properly. |

I bought this years ago it was in a shed for many years. The engine is long gone. I spray painted the frame not perfect but does the job. The back tires have slow leaks but are usable. The trans axle had two broken bolts I believe this is why it was put away the back wheels were stuck. I cleaned it put new lube in works great. I have spent a lot of time on this project. I do have some of the original nuts bolts and a drive belt included. Hi many people have asked the engine I believe was a 5hp Briggs and Stratton. The clutch attached to the engine is a horstman belt drive going to the jack shaft. Please google scat tracker images it was made for penneys department store and has an exploded parts list. I have seen someone use a harbor freight predator engine. I have a max torque belt drive new clutch will add it to the sale. The original chain is included please no low ball offers will just put her back in the attic. I found the original horstman centrifugal clutch it will be added. |

It was stored in a garage with other never used equipment and wrapped in plastic/blankets. It has been on display in my office ever since. It was fired up only once when I purchased to hear it run. It has never been ridden or sat on. The only flaw is that about a quart of gas was left in the tank (fuel valve off) and it caused the tank to turn brown inside. Other than that it is perfect/new in every way. |

New items - Oem hand grips, Oem decals, New blue plastics (I still have originals, although they are pretty beat up. I will include a picture in the ad), New seat ( new pan, foam, and cover - 1983 correct. The original seat pan was rusted through, and I still have it as well). This ATC is in very nice condition.The inside of the tank has been cleaned, not coated. I always run inline fuel filters on old metal tanks just to error on the side of caution. Steering stem bearings have been repacked. Tires are in good condition. Bike starts right up and shifts great. Brakes work good. I do have a new front fender as well, although it is not in the pictures. There is some minor pitting on the throttle controls. Overall, this is a very nice piece for anyones collection. |

Exquisite race build with mostly show bike finishes. This was not my build. The work was mostly done by John LeFevre at Vintage Husky in CA. John did his frame mod at the tank/seat junction to provide a better rider cockpit, the engine is brand new and was modified for a new 6-speed (1975) GP transmission and clutch. Aluminum billet triples with 10 degree offset were used at the front, along with brand new Ohlins shocks at the rear. It is extremely well-done.
I have sold this bike twice in the last 6 months, as the first buyer decided after a few months that a modified bike did not fit with his collection. This was the second sale - at a lower price - to a racer, not a collector. This bike is a good example of how a (beautifully) modified bike will not be valued at the cost of the build. In this case, the original owner told me that the core bike, plus build costs was in the $11,000 - 12,000 range. |

Starting bid was $850.00 - it got 0 bids. i bought it several months ago from the original owner and it sat in a barn unused for MANY years. i did about everything you can do to one, rebuilt the carburetor, new battery, new air filter, oil and filter change, differential fluid change, valve adjustment, cleaned and lubed chain, brand new front tire, brand new battery (new tire and battery just this week) and many more things i cant think of right now. it runs, drives, idles and shifts great and everything works thats suppose to. i ended up putting WAY more time and money into this than i care to admit. there are some really cool features about this particular model, it has a clutch just like a motorcycle and it also has a lockable and unlockable rear differential, in unlocked mode it turns on a dime and wont tear up the grass in your yard, only 2 small issues, one is a slow leak in one rear tire and also the starter sometimes need to be smacked to turn over (new starter brushes are $8 shipped on ebay). |

A well preserved 43 Years of age Mini Three Wheeler in great condition. I am the original owner with the original owners manual. The three wheeler shows some signs of rust on the frame and rims. The engine is not the original, however the upgraded engine is 6 Hp Tecumseh. The engine needs some mechanical work, it will not start, due to the carburetor needing to be replaced from setting up in the garage. The seat has less than normal wear, with small tears in the corners. The red body has less than normal wear, with scraps, chip and scratches. The mini three wheeler need a carburetor and two custom made bushings for the steering pivot arm. The mini bike has new rear tires and the front tire is in fair shape. Size: Length 62 Inches x Width 31 Inches x Height 27 Inches. |

Dont know the exact year, I bought it about 3 years ago and it did great for me, I am only selling it because I bought a UTV and dont really use it anymore. The 4WD is amazing it will go over and thru anything. It shows its age but runs good and is fun to drive, and always starts up with no problems. It has some problems as it is 30 yrs old. Breaks could be replaced, but they do work, the bed dumps but manually only, and none of the lights work. |
